Sales Tax Act 2018 and Service Tax Act 2018 came into operation on 28th August 2018 while Goods And Services Tax (GST) Act 2014 was repealed on the same date.

Sales and Service Tax (SST) is effective in Malaysia from 1st September, 2018. Guides and Director General’s Decisions were introduced from time to time since then.
